Welcome to the Egoscue Clinic of Austin’s new blog!

March 31, 2007

Hi folks, welcome to our new blog! I’m going to be talking about a variety of subjects in here. Some will be directly related to The Egoscue Method, some will be indirectly related to Egoscue, and some will have nothing to do with Egoscue at all. I figure this will take shape as we go.

Why a blog? We had thought about putting out a newsletter, but that sounded like a whole lot of work and the last thing I need in my life right now is another deadline. And for most of you, the last thing you need is another piece of paper in your mailbox. Some had suggested an email newsletter. Well, if your inbox is anything like mine, you’re looking for more emails as much as you want more snail mail.

Plus, there’s the whole timing issue. I routinely come across information that I think may be of interest to our clients and I’d like to get it out while it’s fresh and current and while I’m actually thinking about it. I have trouble remembering what I had for lunch yesterday, much less that great article on knee pain from last week.
And one of the cool things about blogs is that you only get the information if you want the information. So I’ll put it out, and hopefully some folks will find it interesting enough to come and read once in awhile. I’ll also post about how to use RSS and a type of software application called a “newsreader” to make staying current with various blogs ridiculously easy.
I genuinely welcome comments. If there is a topic you’d like me to address, please request it and I’ll do what I can.
So, join me on the journey and we’ll see where this goes!
