How Monsanto manipulates the news

There’s a link below that I think is important to watch. It makes the point that what you see in “the news” ain’t necessarily the news. As mainstream media ownership becomes increasingly consolidated in the hands of fewer and fewer entities, money becomes issue in what news an outlet is permitted to report. We teach our children that in America we have a “free press”, but it is evident that our press is not particularly free nor honest. To that end, a book I highly recommend is “Into The Buzzsaw”. It’s a collection of essays from reputable journalists about how their attempts to report on key issues were limited or censored by those for whom they work. After reading it, you won’t look at the news the same way again.

The video below is important for two reasons. One is what I mention above. It tells a story about how the news is really delivered and what this industry’s priorities really are. Secondly, it brings up the important issue of how we are systematically poisoning our food supplies and feeding ourselves and our children toxins that have no business being anywhere near our bodies. I don’t remember the exact length of the video, I think it’s about 8-10 minutes, but it’s very well worth watching. Please, watch it and then pass it on to your friends. This is a story that needs to be shared. The media won’t do it, but we can.
